Nights 1 to 3 Lions and lie-ins in the Timbavati

You’ll catch a flight from Jo'burg directly to the romantic Ngala Tented Camp. Your safari awaits in the sandy riverbeds and open grasslands of the iconic Timbavati. Home to one of Africa’s finest Big Five game-viewing experiences. Spend three days tracking and photographing everything from the white lions of the Birmingham Pride to wobbly baby elephants.

Sleepout Ngala Treehouse beckons

Nights 4 to 7 Benguerra

Tired but unbelievably happy, you’ll catch a flight to Vilanculos and on to Benguerra Island. Here in the warm tropical waters of the Bazaruto Archipelago, you’ll enjoy five lazy days of post-safari R&R. When you’ve recovered from all those early morning game drives in your beachside casinha, the Indian Ocean awaits. Grab an oxygen tank and head off in search of rare dugongs, go swimming on horseback, or catch the sunset from the seat of a colourful dhow.
