Rovos Rail is a luxurious slow train that travel across Southern Africa. Most people hurriedly fly in and out of their safari destinations. But when you’re not “most people”, a romantic Rovos Rail journey to transport you between safari experiences is a reassuringly sophisticated alternative. They call it “the most luxurious train in the world”. And that’s a pretty darn accurate assessment. If you love the formality of fine dining, the indulgence of slow-paced travel and the thrill of shape-shifting landscapes, you’ll love this 1930s throwback as much as we do. Hats off to Mr Vos and his glorious train set. We think this one’s top notch.
