Setting the Scene
By the Mussicadzi River and surrounded by leafy trees, Muzimu Lodge is made up of six canvas suites, connected by raised walkways, with earthy fabrics and white linens for that warm safari vibe.
Cool Camping
The tents have king-sized beds, spacious bathrooms and big deck energy. Kick back in the shade with a coffee and listen to the sounds of nature – no, sorry that’s my stomach. Time for a light, fresh lunch in the open-air dining area. In the evening, you might be treated to a gorgeously romantic bush dinner lit by candlelight and the Milky Way.
Game drives very quickly become your new daily routine. Maybe you’ll encounter the park’s famously tempestuous elephants. Guides visit the herds every day and know their signals, giving them space when they need it (every long-term couple knows what we’re talking about). You could also go on a bush walk or a boat safari, or visit the park’s scientific centre.
One More Thing
Back at the lodge, the pool is calling, after which maybe you’ll find time for a massage on your private deck. In the evening, after a game drive, gather with other guests around the fire over cold drinks and cool safari tales.
