Nothing says “far from ordinary” quite like Kubu Island Fly Camp. A night spent sleeping under the island’s stars may well be the most extraordinary thing you ever do. Protected by a rocky granite outcrop slap-bang in the middle of Kubu’s Lost Island of the Baobabs, your private fly camp awaits you. It’s an utterly unique experience, set against the vast, salty, backdrop of the Makgadikgadi. As for the little lump under your bedcover, it’s just a hot water bottle meant to heat your toes. (Do not bludgeon it in needless self-defence.)
