No matter how abstemious you are, there’s no escaping the infamous “safari spread”. And while you certainly won’t starve at More Quarters (the breakfasts are jaw-dropping), having your own kitchen can be a welcome way to bring a few of your own meals in for a change. Just off the vibey Kloof Street, these converted heritage townhouses are so damn close to everything. Zip up the mountain behind you, take your credit card for a whirl at the V&A Waterfront, day-trip out to the winelands or mooch around on one of Cape Town’s glorious blue flag beaches. And come home to collapse in absolute style.
