Chinzombo sits on a kink in the Luangwa River, vast lawns topple over the edge of the sandy river banks, anchored by six enormous tented suites. While not out of place, Chinzombo has a lowkey but stylish design that elevates it above the more classic style of your typical Zambian experience, but in such a good way. And the game viewing and food are top-notch too. (We’re particularly fond of a good lunch spread and this one doesn’t disappoint.) If you’re feeling adventurous, swap your four walls for a signature sleep out under the stars. And if you can bear to forgo a morning game drive, watch the sunrise, neck deep in a bubble bath.
